I’m Frank Oliver, a CEO and Portfolio Manager that’s spend most of my time dealing with Americans, as I studied in Stuttgart as well as in Los Angeles and later worked for a US consulting firm, before switching to investment banking (18y w Goldman Sachs and AIG). Post Financial Crisis, I have worked 5y with the Ministry of Finance to restructure the bad banks in Germany.
Today, I own a company that advises different family monies on how to invest in Credit, Real Estate and Ventures. Our approach is different to many others -We primarily invest in entrepreneurs in our Venture division; in business models in our Credit division, and in Cash Flows in our Real Estate division. We rely on a network of friendly and experienced bankers and lawyers who commit their own money and / or help with evaluating deal options.
One interest close to my heart is Africa, I do spend a good amount of time as a board member of a charity in Ireland that builds computer labs in 5 African countries (www.camara.org). In Berlin, we frequent the Opera a lot and I am a big fan of Alba Berlin.
My area of expertise is Fintech, specifically lending and credits.
